COVID-19, because of you, the bread shelves at Costco were bare. Usually I make sourdough bread each week, but that is more of a crusty loaf and we needed sandwich bread. So, as a stress reliever, I resorted to making a new recipe in my machine. Also, it’s so freaking easy, just dump the stuff in and forget about it until it beeps (kind of).

This bread has a very subtle cinnamon and honey flavor so it’s suitable for sandwiches and toast. And, its nice and soft (not so soft like garbage/cheap white bread) but it has a nice chew.

Cinnamon Honey Wheat Bread
- 1 cup water
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1.5 cups bread flour
- 1.5 cups wheat flour
- 2 tbsp dry milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp yeast
Put it all in the pan in the order that your machine recommends (I used the order listed). Once the kneading starts, watch to make sure it doesn’t look too try (you’ll know). Cinnamon is an ingredient that sucks up all the moisture, so sometimes will need to add depending on how it looks.
Use Wheat Bread cycle.
Light crust option.
